Heater Fan Replacement Help

I'm getting ready to replace the heater fan in my '95 850 wagon this weekend. It's been squeeking for over a year now and I figure I better fix it before it finally goes out during a long trip this winter.

Question: What's the best way to access and remove the heater fan? I took a quick look under the hood this evening and nothing appeared immediately intuitive. Does Chilton's (or others) manual cover this procedure?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Thanks for the info posted so far -- just fixed windshield washer system this evening from info/links in previous posts... just in time for our next snow storm.
