Heater Fan Replacement Help 850 1995

I'm getting ready to replace the heater fan in my wagon this weekend. It's been squeeking for over a year now, and I figure I better replace it before it finally gives-out during a long trip this winter.

Question: What is the best way to access and remove the heater fan? I looked around under the hood this evening while fixing the washer fluid check valve, but I did not see any obvious access point for the fan. I checked the archive for a previous post but couldn't find anything for an 850. Does a Chilton's (or other) manual outline this procedure?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
