Front Bushings S80 2000

Back in September I took my S80 to the dealer for the front ball joint recall. I figured I wouldn't be visiting the dealer again anytime soon, but now I'm thinking I might need to make another appointment. The weather turned cold in late October/early November and ever since then I've heard a sound coming from the lower portion of my steering column. It happens when I turn the wheel; I can even feel it sometimes. I'm wondering if it's the front bushings. Wasn't there a recall for the front bushings back in 1999? My S80 is an 8/99 build, so I probably qualify for that recall as well. Then again, maybe they didn't properly replace the ball joints. Anyone have an opinion/suggestion?
