Brake Cable Clicking V70-XC70 2000

I just replaced rotors, pads, cables, and shoes for under $250 in parts. The cables were the expensive parts.

You need to pull the rear rotors to inspect the shoes and cable-end mechanisms. The point where the cable attaches could be rusted solid or the shoes could be worn completely off.

$700 sounds a bit stiff for an hour's worth of work.
