2007 XC90 V8 - TRANSMISSION XC90 2007

I have had 2 XC90's - 2005 and 2007 V8, the transmission came out of the 05 at about 80,000 miles, still under extended warranty. I traded at 130,000 for the 2007, I have 135,000 miles on it now and the transmission came out. It never made a noise or any indication of trouble. I have had every service done at Volvo dealer. It is going to cost me over $6000.00 to have the new transmission put in. I am real discussed with VOLVO, they will not assist at all in this problem It seems that they have transmission problems with their vehicles. I will NOT purchase another Volvo nor recommend one. I feel it is the least they could do to meet me 1/2 way withthe costs to retain a coustomer, however, i called and talked to main office and they will not. SO BEWARE - DO NOT BUY VOLVO. All the miles are straight up and down the interstate.
