Yep, that's the proceedure if you're now low on freon. It's recharged with a bottle of AC dye added AND it won't be visably detectable until the freon with dye leaks out, which can realistically take up to a year or more in some cases if it's a very slow leak.

Once recharged with the dye, just use your AC normally until it loses its charge (becomes warmer, cycles often) then have it leak checked with a blacklight.
