grinding noise 850 '95

A grinding noise from the rear passenger side occurs when my '95 850 makes a sharp right turn on a fairly steep grade. I recently bought the car with 73.5K from a local dealer. All maintenance records were provided me as the car was purchased from the dealer and then traded in there. The 70K service has been completed including the new timing belt. As part of its dealer prep for the used-car lot the dealer replaced the AC condenser, the battery and the passenger-side SRS cover. I asked about the latter and was told the SRS had not "deployed", but the cover had deteriorated cosmetically (warped) and they therefore relaced it. In addition, the dash clock runs slowly and the gear-selector light is out. I raised these issues with the dealer and they've agreed to fix whatever I find."just make a list and bring it in." Obviously, since this is a free service I'd like to have as complete and accurate list as possible. I'd appreciate all help. When I first drove the car i heard a noise shortly after I began moving. I now believe this is the auto locking feature kicking in. Could the grinding noise be related to this? Far-fetched, but I'm not a mechanic and the car runs like a top. It's solid, very comfortable and for a 6'5" male has great headroom (no moonroof) and wonderful visibility. It is in every way a logical adult car. I look forward to beating my Honda Accord's 180K odo reading.

Best regards and thanks in advance,

Dave O'Connor
