Check Engine Light and Air Pump 850 1996

The "check engine" light has come on in our 1996 850 GLT. The dealer has diagonosed it as a bad air pump. I was quoted a replacement cost of $440 for the pump and $180 labor. The car has 62K miles and an emissions warranty of 5 years or 70K miles. Has anyone had the air pump covered under the emissions warranty?
