Hi Klaus...

Thank You.... I did notice that when the ecu energised the vacume
relay it worked fine and operated the valve near the fire wall, and
when I took of the large air input hose... ie. no air, the pump did come on.

I expected the ECU to energise the airpump relay at the same time as the vacume
relay you mentioned. I did swap the large relay under the rad. Shroud.

Which part of this (large) relay actually energises the Air pump..

It works fine if I directly apply 12 volts.

Appreciate your thoughts on this.

Is the J connector near the Carbon/Canister, filter or near the neck
of the fuel tank... I did not see any unusual connector near
this filter...?
