Re: Bumpy brakes after long drive S70 2000

T.

Thats the first I have ever read of the technical description bumpy. but Heh what I know.

I'm a gonna guess the problem kind of goes away when you drive in the city. So what I think it is, is the surface of the disk(s) is corroded in a few spots and it has caused DTV(disc thikness variation). What you need to figure out is it front or rear. The vibration is it in the Swheel or the seat of your pants, ie the back of the car. Once you have got that look at the break disc's to see if you can locate any discoloured spots.

If you can figure out front rear you may not see the spots as it might be on inside of the disc's.

have a look let us know!

C.
