Can´t open passenger door from inside the car 850

Today I noticed that passenger front door does not open from the inside. Lock actuator appears to be working as the knob moves up and down when I lock or unlock the car from drivers door. It opens normally from the outside when the knob is up and does not open when the knob is down as it should.

Anyone knows what I am up against? My wife is flattered, as I have to get out and open the door so she can get out.

Car is a 95 850.
