Electronic Throttle Module "Recall' (surging, power loss, limp mode)

Thanks, Klaus.

My S60 T5 is a 2001 model sold to my nephew (new) in December of 2001, and now has 104k miles on it, so I have a little time yet.

I suspect it will be an uphill battle to get mine replaced since it hasn't yet tried to kill me, or hasn't sidelined the car, but if it all fails, I will look into that lifetime Canadian product.

I tracked them down, and their web address is actually XEMODEX.COM if anyone else is listening.

I have heard that many of the Volvo replaced ETMs have been failing at as few as 30k miles (and there's no second bit at the apple), so a lifetime warranty would be nice!

Bob
