Thankfully your opinion is amongst the minority. The majority of journalists, the public and the dealers absolutely love this car. While my other half does like the classic "Brick", I for one have been of the opinion that a change in body style has been a long time coming. Motor Trend absolutely loves the S60 according to the Car of the Year article (won by that Mexican built Neon - the PT Cruiser) and just this week the Automotive Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) voted the S60 the Best New Sports Sedan/Coupe (over $30K CDN) beating rivals like BMW 3-Series and the all new Mercedes C-Class!! Not bad when you consider the fact that the Germans literally invented this segment! The S40 also won Best New Family Sedan (over $25K CDN) and the V40 won Best New Station Wagon. The Cross Country was a finalist in the Luxury SUV category which was won by the Acura MDX. Interesting when you consider that the XC isn't really an SUV at all and yet it was a finalist when Mercedes ML55 and BMW X5 didn't even get a mention.
