Automobile magazine S70 all

I know this really belongs in Opinions, but I figured this select audience would be more interested.

Got my Jan. '01 issue of Automobile mag today, which is generally a fine piece of journalism, and was shocked to see Joe Lorio write:

"The new S60 sedan sets out to show that Volvos can be sporty. (That's a far cry from the outgoing S70, which proved that Volvos could be boxy and boring.)"

OUCH! Fortunately the S60 received high praise from Mr. Lorio. Still, it's surprising to see a Euro-centric mag be so disparaging of a refined sleeper like the S70. Boxy yes, boring NO. (I guess he'd REALLY hate my 854 NA.) Maybe he never drove a T5 or Euro-spec R...
