Re: performance advice S40-V40 2001

up untill a couple of months ago i was one of those riceboy honda freaks so i know what you mean on the sound.some of the things i learned after 9 years of hot rod honda im trying to apply to my s40(dont everyone laugh at once)but you do learn a little about fwd high hp.i crawled under my car for the first time and i agree the muffler and piping doesnt look too bad. maybe all we need is a larger down pipe and cat.if your coil over kit allows you to choose spring rates, have you corner weighed your car.ill be checking mine on my scales soon, but if volvo is correct on the weight being in the 2700 to 2900 lbs range try a 400 lbs front and 350 lbs rear.and if you decide to hit a drag stip bring some 1000 lbs for the rear to help on the traction
