timing belt replacement V70-XC70 2002

The fuel filter on this model is very eay to access and change all you need is a 10mm socket and a pair of plyers. located just in front of the right rear wheel no need to hoist the vehicle althought that makes it easier.

The hoses are held on with two spring clip type clamps just squeese the clamp and pull the hose off. The socket is used to loosen the clamp around the filter ,loosen and pull the filter out. After reverse assembly a tip picked up from this site was to wrap the finished hoses with masking tape to keep the dirt out.
Whole job takes about 10 minutes.
