CD Error message S60 2005

Hi all, I own a 2005 S60R with the built-in 6 disc player stereo. All of a sudden I receive a CD ERROR message whe attempting to play any of the 6 CDs in the unit.

Has anyone had this issue and if so, what did you do? The CDs will eject and can be reinstalled, but none of them will play. The AM/FM radio plays just fine.

How difficult is it to remove the stereo from the dash and does anyone have any step by step instructions and/or video of this procedure? Thank you, Fred.
