Resume switch sticks V70-XC70 1999

The cruise control button sticks in the Resume position sometimes. Don't get me wrong, the car doesn't try to run away from me but the slide switch sticks in the Resume position. (I guess it would run away if I hit Resume and let it go.}

Before I squirt it with contact cleaner and silicon spray, do you have any suggestions?
