Finally after a few months I have reset the CEL!

There was no mechanical issue that was addressed to shut that stupid light off.
And a standard "clear codes" function on my ScanGauge II would not do it either. As the ScanGauge was something new to me, I wasn't sure if the unit was working or not.

Fortunately someone at LinearLogic (makers of ScanGauge II) clued me on a few ideas to reprogram things and no more CEL. They were very helpful.

I feel like I got an early Christmas present! What a relief.
