I'm surprised a dealer would advise turning the rotors.

Volvo rotors should not be turned.

I would only use stock brake parts. Volvo brakes work very

well and it is a good bet that Volvo spent a lot of engineering

resources getting it right (more then any after-market supplier

is likly to have expended). If you search this board you will

find people that have used after-market brake parts and had as

many problems (or more) them OEM (and of course, some have had

no problems at all).
