Re: Other engine noises V70-XC70 1998

Well, this will only be my second encounter with my local dealer seeing as I just bought my car in september. My first one was great, BTW (I posted about it, come to think about it).

So hopefully they'll do right by me.

They told me they won't give me a loaner because I didn't buy the car there. I'll let that one go this time, but I'm not happy about it. Mercedes gives me a loaner despite the fact that I bought that car used as well.

Dealerships make much of their money off service. They should either provide loaners or not. Period. I understand I may have to wait a while to get an appointment with a loaner. Hey, how many times do they say during a new car sale "we're not making any money off this car"? If they're really not making a huge profit off so many sales, it's coming in from somewhere.

(BTW, I'm quite familiar with holdbacks, kickbacks, scratching backs, etc.)
