S40 fuel tank S40-V40 2001

I just confirmed with my Volvo rep. the size of the fuel tank in the S40.

It is a 16 gallon tank, I on the other hand have not been "draining" the tank and due to the way the tank is shaped I usually end up having an extra 4-5 gallons in a pocket of the tank. (think of it as a reservoir in the shape of a small motorcycle fuel tank) I will try to provide pictures to help elaborate this explanation.

(so my car does have a 16 gallon tank, sue me! or demand a hand recount, whatever you prefer. LOL!!)
