Re: Code 435 - What does it mean 850 1995

As another Poster indicated, the front heated 02 sensor is slow. I had the same code on my 1994 850 Turbo, plus a code that indicated the catalytic converter efficiency was low. After resetting, the code came back, so I replaced the 02 sensor using directions I found at www.volvospeed.com. It took about an hour of my time with the car up on ramps, and the part was about $140.00 from Nils Sefeldt Volvo. The car ran much better, and the check engine light has been off since.
