There are several possibilities as to what the problem cound be.

There seems to be a rash of tranny problems induced by the recent

cold weather. Search down on this group's page and look at all

the posts with the word "transmission" in the title. Read the

posts and see if any of the described problems are similar to

yours (I bet they are). That will help you get an idea as

to the type of problems people see.

A very common problem is with a switch that seems to have problems

when cold (the PNP switch). Our 95 has this problem. So far, I

have just ignored it (but I have checked the engine codes so I

have a pretty good idea of what it is I am ignoring).
