DSTC Service Warning Indication S80 2000

I have been a subscriber to Rolling Magazine for 2 months. My Year 2000 S80 T6 is 16 months old; ever since the dealership performed the one year servicing, I have been receiving a "DSTC Service Required" message every time I turn a corner or park the car. Also, at 15,000 miles I started to notice a "clunk" from the forward port side of the car,...I understand there is a Recall on the Year 2000 for Ball Joint looseness. Maybe this is causing both problems ( instability with the dynamic stability traction control sensor). I am trying to contact Volvo with my VIN number to accellerate my notification. Can not get service without this.

Has anyone else had these problems?
