Re: Let's beat the K&N thing some more S70 2000

If I take the air filter out of my T5 and my wifes' 850 they

have the same part number. But, as I recall, one has taller

pleats and presumably more surface area (and should flow more

air). I wonder if there are slight differences in Volvo air

filters that have not been taken into account when reporting

if the K&N improved performance or not.

(Our 850 has smaller pleats but it has also been replaced

as part of a 30K tuneup by the dealer. The 70s' filter

is from the factory. I believe the filter in the 850 has a

newer manufacturing date stamped on it. Both are Volvo parts)
