How to flush the tranny? 850

and DON'T let anyone use those dialysis type machines. They are too fast and use too much pressure. The transmission already has a pump that is perfectly suited to the mechanicals inside. Use it.

Use fully synthetic fluid for as much of the flush as you can and at least the last liter.

An AutoRx treatment of the trans 1000 miles before the flush is not a bad idea.

I have had good luck with the Lucas Transmission Fix as a preventative thing too for seal maintenance. I am not sure I will use it in my next flush though - it seems that it is just very thick trans fluid. Probably better off spending the money on more synthetic fluid once you've used it once or twice to get the seal conditioning properties... doesn't seem to hurt though - maybe a bit of a mileage suck but nothing substantial.
