Is this car a lemon? S60 2006

Klaus - I'd swear you are getting a touch of something. You saw the ad for this car when I bought it. You were oohing and ahhing that the guy had taken it to level 0 or level 1 or level 9 or whatever. I didn't buy it *because* he chipped it. I bought it because it is a HPT with only 58K mi, and I missed my 850T.

The jerk also put 18" rims on it, and they made it drive like a truck. You may recall I asked about hard steering a year or so ago and if my rack could be bad. Luckily for both me and Tirerack, he gave me the stock rims. I sold the shiny large ones and the fancy Toyo tires separately on Ebay. Turns out this rack is stiffer than the 850T, perhaps due to difference in mileage.

This is the same car where the guy painted the calipers with epoxy paint and gummed them up, yet another winner.

Turns out, he also replaced the stock third mounted rear light, which you may recall I complained about 2 months ago shining down in my rearview. The aftermarket doesn't seal to the window like the OEM. Haven't fixed THAT yet.

Buying a car someone has dickered with sure is fun. The engine does have a heck of a lot of get up and go, which it would have had without the "tuning".
