Klaus,

So in your response, do you mean that the 98' does not have the software for the trip computer?

I just got a trip computer switch out of a 99 v70 cross country and there is a plug in my 98' V70 where is will fit and is ready for it. I put it in and nothing. Is there something else out of the cross country that I need as well?

Any thoughts on that? Please let me know when you get a chance.
