Is CarX okay for exhaust work? S70 1998

We drove 4 hours today (in rain and fog all the way) coming back from the north shore of Minnesota. Once back in Minneapolis, we stopped to fill up the tank. All of sudden when we started the car, the exhaust system is ear-splitting loud.

I just got $1700 worth of suspension and spark plug tune up work just last week. Not happy about this sudden exhaust problem.

=> Any thoughts on why this happened all of a sudden?
The car has been idling rough and the tune up with new spark plugs was suppose to solve that. I was also told by one garage a year or so ago that I had a crack in the manifold and another garage told me that it wasn't that big of a deal.

It's new year's eve tomorrow and I need to get this exhaust problem fixed right away.
=> I like to always get Volvo parts for all repairs, but since this is an emergency, is going to a place like CarX okay?

I used arrows to point out my two questions. I appreciate any feedback or advice. Thank you!
