Re: leaky radiator 850 1994

The radiator on my 94, 850 Turbo leaked at the "O" rings in the header tanks . The few drops of coolant were visible on the garage floor after the car had cooled and the O rings contracted . There have been partially succesfull attempts to replace the O rings but the problem is that once the tabs have been bent backwards and forwards they loose their ability to clamp sufficiently.

I was warned to treat the repair as a temporary one and keep a close eye on it. After a year and 18k miles the leak returned and I bought and had installed a new radiator. Milage on instalation of new radiator 60m .

Merry Xmas to you all from New Zealand .
