Re: Flashing Arrow (Mode "Winter") 850 1994

I had the same problem with a 3-2-2 code along with some problems upshifting when the car is cold. I replaced the PNP switch myself at a cost of $78.00. The most difficult part was the removal of the connector from the plug housing (insert a small screw driver into the slot opposite the side where the wires come in push down to release a clip and pull the connector out). The Haynes book tranny codes are on page 7B-7. Make sure the new PNP is properly aligned or the car will not start. I started it before I put it back together to test it and as a result, I had to clear a fuel system code. After doing that it worked like a champ! I posted a question a week ago or so about this and others helped me out. So check out previous posts.
