Service light reset interval 850 1994

SERVICE LIGHT

Hi guys.

I cover with my 1994 850 Turbowagon about 10,000 km every year, and so my car’s service light is “on” every 7,500 km. I do the complete service inspection at 15,000; 30,000; 45,000 km (and so on) and I only change oil at 22,500; 37,500; 52,500 km (and so on).

I had to reset the service light(I had never done myself), and so I followed the instructions on http://www.volvospeed.com/850slight.htm:

<>.

So I did, and the light now is “off”.

But when will the light be “on”, next time? After 7,500 km/1 year (such as usually), or after 15,000 km/1 year?

Here my question is: is possible to program the lighting interval?

In the four numbers above, you can see 1 and 5. Do they perhaps mean “15” (15,000 km) or are they the normal light reset code?

I hope to have been clear (in spite of my bad English).

Thanks in advance.

Paolo M.
