Creaking Rear Suspension on 1995 Volvo 850 T-5R 850

Hello fellow Brickboarders,

I have a creaky rear suspension on my 95 850 T-5R sedan. The sound was barely noticeable at first, but progressively has gotten worse over the past few months. As of now, I can definitely hear it at low speeds, but not on the highway. It's not a clunking or a thumping sound, definitely more of a creak or groan. The sound occurs regardless of whether the brakes are applied or not. From my research it seems like it could be the sway bar bushings, shocks, shock mounts, sway bar end links, or perhaps something else? If any 850 owners have any pointers I'd be very grateful. Thanks,

mrplow
