Should I ask to have the windshield redone? 850 1997

I recently cracked my original windshield and had a local family owned shop replace it for just under $170. The only issue I am having is that they really messed up the trim on top, leaving the black mastic substance sticking out so that the trim piece does not sit down flush on the windshield like it should.
So while I am waiting for them to correct this, I decided to cut some of the mastic off and try to clean up the upper edge of the glass. That worked, but then I noticed the windshield on the driver side sits lower in the upper corner. The trim piece will not sit flush with the windshield all the way across. Only the passenger side looks good.
The glass has the marking FY, which I believe is glass from China. AS1 M854 DOT-459 W737
I've been reading past postings here and it appears the general thought is to get OEM glass and have a competent shop do the labor.

Could this Chinese glass be indeed warped a bit so that it will not fit correctly on the frame? The edges behind the trim are definitely rough and one can cut their fingers on the edge if your not careful. I would have thought the edges would have some sort of finish on them like roll up windows?

There is not noise to speak of, other than the trim not being flush on top. No leaks either.
