headgasket stop gap V70-XC70

Hello, It would use a half gallon in 37 miles. Thats the distance to Walmart, then my wife would refill before she left. In the morning it would take about 2 or 3 minutes before number 2 cylinder would kick back in.
The cooling system had to be completely flushed of all coolant, then I warmed it up again on water and dumped it out of the block drain and radiator drain, filled with Bars leak and refilled with water and let it warm up. Then I brought the RPM to 2400 and let it run for 1 hour at 2400. I let it cool for another hour and then drained the cooling sytem again and left it open for 24 hours. Next day filled it back up with Walmart antifreeze and water, so far so good. If it last untill spring I'll be happy.
