The 2003 is much better than the 2001. Volvo manual: "S60 and V70 NON-TURBO AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION models (VIN code #64) sold in California, Massachusetts and Vermont are classified as SULEV+ vehicles. The timing belt and tensioner replacement interval for these vehicles is 15 years or 150,000 miles. All other models have a replacement interval of 10 years or 105,000 miles."
