Timing belt interval 2003 V70-XC70

No matter what Klaus says, I think that timing belt should be replaced at 90,000 miles for two reasons: 1) The reason for the 105,000 mile interval is that the manufacturer has to warrenty the emmission system for the first 100,000, and the timing belt falls under that warrenty. 2) The damage done by a failed belt, tensioner, or idler is astronomical compared to the cost of a new belt, tensioners, water pump, etc. But that's just me.

Glad to hear that your Dad is okay.

Greg
