leaking fuel profusely 850

You could have crapped out a seal on your fuel injectors. You could have crapped out a fuel injector. The pressure regulator could be bad and leaky. Any of the lines could have gone and gotten a hole in it.

You should be able to diagnose this yourself without too much difficulty. First, how's the car run? If well, I'm going to guess the hose right after the pressure regulator (FPR) has a hole or has cracked off. Because you say profusely this is where I think the problem is.

Taking off your rail isn't that complicated of a job, just undo the two screws and disconnect fuel line from the rail at the left side. You should be able to flip it and see everything. The best test for your injectors would be to remove it them (still on the rail, with you NOT draining the fuel system) and set it on dry newspaper, where the leak is is where you should look. The FPR cracked would be an indication that it needs replacing.

It might just be a $4 hose as opposed to a $200 shop bill...
