I am looking at a 1998 awd v70 wagon with 155k miles on the clock. Presently not running with fuel issues.

I know nothing of the more modern front/awd Volvos, having owned only rwd models but now I need 4wd.

What are the weaknesses on these vehicles. Whats the longevity of the drive train? Do they work well in snow, better than the rwd?

Are there issues that all these later models have?

Should I avoid this car like the plague?
