Cruise not working V70-XC70 1998

I just replaced my cruise control switch on my 98 V70 T5 with around 160,000. The vacuum switch is held into a squarish hole right above the brake light switch on a bracket in front of the brake pedal. There are two plastic tabs which hold the cruise control vacuum switch into the bracket. On my car, one of the plastic tabs that held the cruise control vacuum switch into the bracket just broke off-being plastic, it was probably brittle and just failed with old age. Purcahsed a new swtich, got it into the hole in the bracket (a real chore) and everything worked great again. The switch was around $20.
