I bled the clutch slave on my sister's 1998 S70 once. It wasn't hard and I had no problems whatsoever doing it the old fashioned find-a-friend-to-pump-the-pedal method.

I have never owned or used a power bleeder, and though I expect it should work fine, I can't say first hand whether it works better or worse than the pump-the-pedal method does.
