Re: Headlight question? S40-V40 2000

LFedor....your right I can and did get my 1st 2 changes done at the dealer about 3 months apart! The problem is I had to wait 2 days to get the car into the dealer...and then 30 min. to replace the bulb, plus another 20/30 min. to do the warranty paper work plus the 40 min. roundtrip for the drive.....its not worth the "free" cost!!! After that I keep 2 spares in the trunk! My last and 3rd bulb change took me 5 min. in my driveway...well worth the $15.00. My first change was at 3000 miles, 2nd at 7700 miles, both with the DRL's all the time...I have since switched them off and have gone 17k until the last change...not great but better. My wifes '00 V70 has only burnt out 1 bulb in 16k and her DRL's are on all the time....go figure!!!! I guess she got a good V70 because that has been the "only" problem with the car!!!!! thanks, Bill
