power window woes!?!?! V70-XC70 1998

You are in for some colder weather, so leave the window rolled up!

The dirver's switch panel can be pried straight up and out, use a wide bladed screwdriver or bone tool. Work it up slowly, you don't want to break the brittle plastic. You can also grab the rear window switches to help pull up the unit.

Once it is out, just unplug it. The passenger switches are the same, but will not work without the driver's switch plugged in.

The switches do wear out or get corroded from lack of use. Banging on it doesn't help.
