Well, that's what I keep telling my wife! Then again, it's such a good car to drive. We do plan on keeping it a very long time.

So do you know if chains/cables are illegal? I checked our AAA triptik and all it says for WI under the Studded Tires column of the state highway information is prohibited, whereas for other states it gives dates. What I found really funny is that down south where chances of snow and ice are rare or once every ice age they are legal anytime (no restrictions). As you slowly move north they become restricted to times of year and the slowly outlaw chains, cables and studded tires... go figure.
