Can a poorly maintained turbo cause my car to smoke ? 850 96

My car will smoke a blue white color if I let it idle

for more than about 3 minutes.

I noticed a few cracked hoses

and I will soon be replacing them.

It was suggested that possibly

my turbo could be dumping oil.

I have had absolutely no maintenance

done to that turbo. I am considering removing it for a complete cleaning

and new seals. I have 120,000 on the car. I have had it since new.

Much appriciated,

Scott
