ABS warning light on V70-XC70

Hello, What year and how many miles on your V70? Fairly common to have the ABS light come on. Do a search of "ABS failure" on this board and you'll see many of the same question. I've seen posts by several people who had success merely checking their ABS controller for cold solder joints. There's a fellow named Vic Rocha who does a stellar job fixing these things. He's quick and honest. He checks each unit in a car before he returns them, they tell me. The control part is held in place by E5 Torx head bolts-the bolt head is the male Torx element. The controller drops down. You can still drive your car safely; you just won't have ABS function. Play with it or just send it to Vic. People wrap the remaining part in plastic to keep dirt out. You can do this. Let us know how it turns out. Kira
