leaking fuel profusely 850

Your mechanic should be able to pull off the rail and figure out which is leaking. Put it on newspaper and see if they leak. If he can't tell you positively which one(s) is/are leaking and which isn't/aren't I'd decline him fixing it. Is it leaking and the engine is still running "fine"? Also, did you ever rule out the fuel pressure regulator? Its on the underside of the rail, so a leak there, or on one of the hoses could cause the leak.

Do you know which injectors were leaking and which are leaking now?

I would NOT pony up the money on new injectors, junkyard ones can be had for a couple of bucks, and most of the time its just a seal. However, is your mechanic 100% sure he placed the rail on properly, as well as the injectors in the rail? Since different ones are leaking now, I'd have to think its installation.

If you're not driving it "like its stolen," are you really driving?
