speedo ok, odometer not. 850 94

Hello to all.

I am hoping that some one has already figured this one out, but a recent look in the archives doesn't seem to cover my problem.

About 2 weeks ago I filled up with gas, and as always, pushed the tripmeter to reset it, by the time I drove home, about 2-3 miles, I noticed that it had not moved. The speedometer works fine, but no trip or odometer movement. I finally had the time to pull out the instrument cluster today and get at the odometer. I could not see anything that appeared to be broken, { little teeth and such}, from what I could figure out, the little driver { with the 2 wires on it} for the speedometer also drives the odometer at the same time. So would changing this out solve the problem or am I going down the wrong path with trying to figure this problem out?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
