turn fogs into DRL V70-XC70

The relay trick only works on 98 and older cars, will not work on cars 99 and up.

What you can do is swap the output feed going to the low beam from the DRL relay not from headlight or headlight relay. and switch to the fog light relay as input.

If someone can post a schematic of the wiring I can tell you exactly which wires to swap
